Acoustic ceiling sails from platino24 - broadband absorbers for successful sound insulation

Our acoustic elements/ceiling-sails made of polyester fleece achieve excellent absorption values and are extremely robust and insensitive. We assemble the special acoustic fleeces into various standard articles, many designs also with a self-adhesive finish. The simple installation leads to quick results and ensures audibly improved room acoustics.

Why do broadband absorbers improve room sound?

The fibrous structure of the non-woven materials ensures that sound waves penetrate the soundproofing mat easily. The sound energy "passes" through the fibre structure and is transformed, noise is reduced. A sophisticated relationship between density and material thickness ensures that a wide frequency spectrum is covered. The broadband absorber (ceiling canopy) thus absorbs a wide range of frequencies, reduces the absorbed sound energy and returns less noise to the room. This audibly and noticeably improves the acoustics.

Possible applications for broadband absorbers

To improve the acoustics in rooms, the elements are preferably attached to the ceiling or also walls. Indoors they can always be used, outdoors conditionally, e.g. protected by an enclosure.
. As acoustic ceiling sails, they are used to improve room acoustics, e.g. in offices, lofts, reception halls, law firms, practices, conservatories, assembly halls, workshops or industrial buildings.
An improvement in acoustics, especially if a definable sound source is the cause, can be achieved by enclosing this source. If the inner sides of the enclosure are equipped with the broadband absorbers, significant noise reductions are achieved. Here, a combination with our acoustic sound insulation or sound damping foils can be useful.

How are the fleece elements arranged?

To improve the acoustics in rooms, the broadband absorbers are attached to the ceiling and / or wall. When used as a ceiling sail, the elements are glued directly to the ceiling. Alternatively, they can also be suspended horizontally, e.g. above desks in offices. In large industrial and assembly halls, vertical suspension on cable systems is recommended.
